About Department
Civil Engineering is professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works like roads, bridges, canals, dam, and buildings. Civil engineering is traditionally broken into a number of sub-disciplines. It is the second – oldest engineering discipline after military engineering. And it is defined to distinguish non-military engineering. Civil engineering takes place in the public sector from municipal through to national government and in the private sector from individual home owners through to international companies. This department is having intake of 60 students per year and is providing complete quality education. Knowledge of subjects and correlation it with the vast field is being deliver here by our young and dynamic staff.
Labs
This laboratory houses instruments viz. Electronic total station , Auto levels, Vernier Theodolite with 1 second accuracy, Digital planimeter, Dumpy level. The various other equipments available in the lab are,

The department offers state of the art computing facilities to the graduate students research scholars and faculty member. In addition every faculty member is given one personal computer and most of the laboratory have their own computing facilities to meet there specialized requirement. Computer aided drafting and designing is available in the lab.
